the soup of life in a galaxy

Arecibo telescope finds critical ingredients for the soup of life in a galaxy far, far away.

Astronomers from Arecibo Observatory radio telescope in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, have detected for the first time the molecules methanimine and hydrogen cyanide -- two ingredients that build life-forming amino acids -- in a galaxy some 250 million light years away.

When combined with water, the molecules form glycene, the simplest amino acid and a building block of life on Earth.

The Arecibo astronomers focused on the distant galaxy Arp 220, an ultra-luminous starburst galaxy, because it forms new stars at a very high rate. They used the 305-meter, or 1,000-foot diameter, Arecibo radio telescope, the world's largest and most sensitive, to observe the galaxy at different frequencies. The observations, made in April 2007, were the first use of the 800 megahertz wide-band mode of the telescope's main spectrometer.

It’s just simple to think that we are not alone in this vast universe. Of course there are lot other life organism is exist some where in universe. There are all philosophical, biological and all scientific reasons for possibilities of existence of other life in universe. Very simple to accept this then as we always assume it with lot fantasy and imagination, though these are very creative and fascinating.

And gesture toward outward life organism already achieved by human that’s also friendly and not as an invader but of course high level curiosity, urge for knowledge, habit of exploration are present there as prime characteristics or will of human.

Mr. G and Mr E

When Mr. G saved a file then he press two/three times Cntrl S on keyboard and click 2/3 times on save button. My colleague Mr. B and miss C always find it funny. They always make fun out of it. But I have some preserved sympathy for Mr. G as I think it is reflection of his disbelief in machine. Some time I imagine what if Mr. G meets characters like terminator and T-1000 from the movie Terminator 2-JUDGEMENT DAY. [I find Terminator-2 really a poetic film in treatment, although the movie covers some violence still it poetic and lyrical.] Of course Mr. G will not to be pleased to meet terminator and T-1000. When a bug became a headache and big stores of bugs already there but Mr. G never seems to be so concern about it. He just always calms and his profound belief that machine can’t be accurate. And it is just so delighting to see Mr. G and Mr. E together. Mr. E is a die-hard gadget maniac. Before some important talk everybody needs to listen about his updated gadget information for some minutes may be for hours [I usually listen over expenses of cigarettes and coffee.] There is always high decibel sound of shouting or complete pin drop silence if Mr. G and Mr. E meet, although we often see both them together. Mr. G always has concern over him and invites Mr. E and his girl friend miss D to his home. Mr. G lives absolutely a happy life with two angel like children and his wife Mrs. G. And Mrs. G is what we can describe as a loyal, caring, dedicated wife. Mr. G consider his fridge, washing machine, TV etc are some unkind person who always indulge in conspiracy again him and his family. And Mr. E never understand this and always complains him and try to make Mr. G understand that development of technology and its necessity in human life. In reciprocal Mr. G try to teach him that he spent most of his time in gadget oriented life and ill effect of it on his life. Mr. G calculated that Mr. E never much careful about his girlfriend Miss D as he should. According to him Mr. E spent 70% on his gadget life and only 30% remains to his girl friend Miss D (not including his other time) Mr. G always amazed how Miss D clings to Mr. E for long time as he think Miss D is beautiful and very fond of music who often goes for classical music show and while in those mission if Mr. E accompany her then he prefer he might agree to venture in desert with out water then these classical music shows. But Mr. E proclaims that its works and their relationship works and complains Mr. G that Mrs. G living very painful life, living only a kitchen life. Mr. G says that it was her choice. Mr. G advised that he should increase his percentage of caring to miss D as he claims that he noticed sometime miss D is very depressed. But Mr E said she depressed not for him but because shopping was not done according to her. When there are cases like shopping, cosmetics etc. Mrs. G and miss D builds a mysterious hate and love relationship between them.

As those all kind of argument heated on at cozy-comfort home of Mr. G (sometime in messy home of Mr. E, I generally have some fear of some electrical-fire kind of accident about home of Mr. E, so always sited near by windows or doors). Sometime I accidentally put my presence there and put a silent smile on my face I said “yes” to Mr. E and again I said “yes” to Mr. G. (actually I was noticing consciously whether any cooking activities going on or not in kitchen) Miss D called me sometime “harami”, (a Hindi slang word, I am not sure of English translation of it.) according to Mrs. G being a harami fitted to me and she just said to me "you shaitan, hell is awaiting for you" while she offering a cup of tea to me with a smiling face.

Nepal: lesson learned

MAOIST chief Prachanda said his political group was not against capitalism. "Our fight is against feudalism, not against capitalism," said Mr Prachanda.

The Maoist leader told a private TV channel that private business and property would get protection. "We will nationalize royal property and the property belonging to the late King Birendra," said the Maoist supremo.

Mr Prachanda has been maintaining that Mao Tse-tung's model for a people's republic cannot fulfill modern needs. He has been critical of Stalin for not allowing competition in the society.

Mr Prachanda clarified that only the property the king enjoys as the monarch would be nationalized. "His personal property will not be touched. He will be allowed to do business."

The Maoist leader used the opportunity to soothe the frayed nerves of investors and said businessmen and industrialists would be encouraged to do business, create new jobs and new infrastructure.

Mr Prachanda said his party favored capitalism in Nepal. "Between the feudal stage and socialist stage, there will be capitalist stage," he said, adding that he would follow the mixed economic model and encourage creation of wealth through capitalism.

The former rebel leader said he would encourage foreign investment, including that from India. "We will try to create a favorable environment for them to invest here. When we create an environment where people can make a profit, then naturally, Indian investors will also come," he said.

The Maoist leader had recently said the new government would expand the tax base, eliminate red tape and end the culture of corruption. "We will set up an industrial security force in the process of integrating the People's Liberation Army with the Nepal Army to provide security for industries," he had said.

So lesson is learned from east Europe as it is necessary to before socialism people need to experienced with capitalist mode of production. Once Pakistan able to practice bourgeois democracy in full phase and Bhutan got more matured with democracy, South Asian region will move one step further and conceive more advanced situation which will fitted to socialism. Before it, the big illusion of so called prosperity, new economic boost that generated by neo liberal economy and globalisation will slowly begins to break up as Latin America already witnessed and experienced it.

This is how proletarian internationalism will build up in a way through out all continents which conform to reason and sentiment of all kind of growing people’s struggle in every part of world.

Anatomy of Hell: an another dimension but a foul play

It has gotten a lot of bad reviews; accusing writer-director Catherine Breillat for made a movie which is pretentious, perverse and ridiculous.
Breillat adapts her own novel “Pornocracy”, kicks things off with the in-your-face symbolism of a beautiful Girl (Amira Casar) standing alone and ignored in the middle of a gay nightclub. Instead of going home she does the next best thing-she trots upstairs to the bathroom and slashes her wrists. As the bright red blood drips prettily onto her pure white outfit, she is rescued and patched up by the Guy (Rocco Siffredi), a gay with a pronounced revulsion for all things feminine and female. In gratitude, she offers him a deal, she will pay him to come to her isolated beachside home over the course of four nights and she placed the idea and deal, “watch me where I’m unwatchable”. Offering detailed critiques of the “obscenity” of the female form and modify or reinvent his perception. The rest of the film is dedicated to the four meetings, a battle of the sexes in which words are the primary weapons. The Guy talks about how the female body inspires only “disgust or brutality” or how the sight of a woman’s genitalia reminds him of a particularly ugly frog. And in reciprocal note the Girl offers such insights as “Man can’t give life. He takes it” while flashing back to traumatic memories of her childhood. Of course, invoking the situation the mere words are not always enough and that is when they climbing up to deploying such items as “lipsticks”(most acclaimed and favorite tool of women) and “gardening tools” in wildly unanticipated ways. According to one dialogue again the Girl offers such insight that women are suppressed, not get their freedom because man locks all their holes. After first meeting the Guy indulges in oral sex with the girl, second night in anal sex then third night in straight sex when she having her Menstrual period. Causing her released bloods and his penis stained with these bloods. Although this blood not coming from his penis, its more of an assimilation of two body, the girl proclaim this way in her statement after having straight penetration in to her in her Menstrual period and before the penetration they both drink Menstrual blood as token of mutual deal.
In scientifically nothing wrong in having sex on menstrual period of woman but mostly it’s a taboo on sociological or religious grounds. In interview Catherine Breillat said that she having problem while shooting this film because some of her crew were catholic and they does not feel comfortable on shooting. Actually portrayal of this scene does not mean any assimilation or solidarity (in very diplomatically). Here women can feel deep in psychologically that they abandoned in these 3days from society, love, and children and from this earth also. Abandoned and thrown so sense of insecurity, loneliness and losing purity that enjoyed by children and men. And they feel disgusted too so in balance claimed that “Man can’t give life. He takes it” so woman does that ability to create. But those philosophical, symbolic interpretations are complete contrast to nature and law of evolution.
If we taken here film “In the Realm of the Senses” where Nagisa Oshima tried to build up a harmony, searching for symphony between man and woman while Catherine Breillat invoked conflict and contrast in her film.
This symbolic interpretation for repression is not only ignorance of natural law of physical science but a self made imposition which nothing but lack of knowledge of socioeconomic background or proper historical materialism.
Again in one statement the girl said that when intercourse can’t do on period those 3 days are only period for woman. Of course freedom of woman does not differ from socioeconomic background or ignoring it causes dangerous diversion from reality of life in any form of art. And exercising it, ignoring facts is just a luxury. For which any claimed film craft can floating on fake air without any firmly rooted on soil.
As director herself a woman this film is very much self mockery on woman. Later part of film is like some lesson to male domain how to know more of them. After giving those lessons when male protagonist is awaked about woman, he found she is lost, even he does not know her name. But he ultimately feels with her and end of this realization she vanished mysteriously. More then self mockery this is little ridicules or can be said that imposing alien status on woman and they mean to be always mysterious.
“Anatomy of Hell” is not for everyone and even the majority of those brave enough to seek it out are likely to walk away filled with either disgust or boredom. If you have “18+ and above” certificate of age, this does not enough for entering to theatre and watching this film. This film doesn’t suitable for who may 40 above also. “Adults only” is not sufficient criterion for this film or this genre. It not possible to expecting all audience should be medical student with objective look as they observe and study a human body part or genitals of human. It is more like battle within, facing own moral ethics that governed by society. Same time in the globalization context, in the era far capitalist activities, most intimate acts and relationship of human are already industrialized, exposed and became commodity so obviously a war within own self with morality and ethics which may depend and varies different local to local or culture to culture.

This is not another bad review about this film, but appreciation to Catherine Breillat for her firm belief in this new genre of film making. The film is completely objective, raw and honest on its motif and vision. It’s her brave attitude to portray a woman completely in different perspective. As long as women most commonly used as commodity for many purpose, even male directors put some care on woman character, Breillat tried to deliver a different message and disclosed a new chapter of womanhood.

In the Realm of the Senses: an another dimension

Is “In the Realm of the Senses” pure artistic expression or a hyped porn film? That is the debate that has always followed ‘In the Realm of the Senses’, since its release in 1976.
Actually this film extended the boundary of film craft further more. The film is Honest to its core and very objective in nature and attitude.
Based on the true-life 1930s story of Sada Abe and her lover Kichizo Ishida, Nagisa Oshima’s film contains many scenes of un-simulated sex, both between the main two characters and a number of the less-prominent roles. “Explicit scene” is the only base upon which all arguments existed or the film was banned. By overcoming those “Explicit scene”, the film pushing itself furthers more, beyond contemporary film ethics. So there is a demand on viewer how to accept it is depending on own ethics of viewer.
The film is an example of truly honest piece of filmmaking. Those real sexes as actors acted upon it were very important part of the film. Objectiveness and raw sensitivity of these scenes were not provocative but viewed as human acts in desire. Showing genitals of both man and woman and penetration does not swipe it to a porn film but very wise depiction of human acts same as like eating, fighting etc. As those scenes not choreographed for purpose of only sex acts and profit making porn business, it can be separated from porn tag. Again this film differs from documentary because the film deploys very firmly human emotion like passion, love, jealousy etc. on its own terms.
The story of Sada Abe, the plotline of the film revolves around her relationship with Kichizo Ishida, a married man, a land lord, who is the owner of the hotel where Abe (a former prostitute) has recently been employed as a maid. One morning, with another maid, they sneak out to Ishida’s dwelling, where they both watch him make love to his wife. Sada’s eyes light up and it is at this point that her obsession with Ishida begins and its increases with time mathematically like 2 + 4 + 6 + 8 + 10...........to infinity.
The constant nature of their sexual activities, along with the way in which their bodies almost become one, is really amplified by the graphicness of the sex scenes frame by frame with calculated manner. All frame fit to proper visual and proper angle. Never used unnecessary shot to provoke or exhibits unauthenticated sex acts which can be seen as purposeless. Selecting of frame and angle is tightly mathematical with time passes and all scenes contain only required frame angle and objects of body. The penetration shown only in last sex act when Sada is strangling Ishida while making love to him. With top angle it quietly reflects two fatal acts, desire and killing, penetration and strangling. Two humans actually engaged in the act of sex, with no limitations, or reservations about their bodies, the film manages to perfectly portray the desperation that Abe has to be with Ishida, and how she feels completely at one with him. The slight boundaries that were initially in place between them are constantly broken, and even food is brought into the love making process. Smell also part of mood and ambience of the film as we see in one scene where the pensive Sada turns away a maid offering to clean the room. When told that it smells, Sada replies that "We like it". And she is disconsolate when she returns to find that the room has been cleaned in her absence, and their carefully cultivated smell is gone. She became violent again fearing losing Kichizo Ishida. The ingredient for self-destruction is sealed the moment, violence gets brought into the relationship, and with Abe’s increasing jealously at the thought of Ishida with other women, the tension in the final scenes of the film is almost fatal and self-destructive.
Oshima was sticking to his principles and while executing the film in the manner that he reflected the state of the relationship between two human (Abe and Ishida) through film very different in perspective but honest. It is certainly a highly emotional experience, and one that will have audience on tender hooks all the way until the inevitable ending. The shocking, controversial and influential film that outraged censorship boards the world over, and was banned for twenty years. This film does not attempt to treat Sada's sad history, her background, something that may explain her odd behavior. Far from pretending to be a documentary, this view considers only the snippet of life between Sada's first meeting with her lover and acts between them to the end of physical existence of Ishida. But this short snippet of Sada's apparently long life is full of action. And director Oshima uses this action to try to lure audience into the heady, raw sensual world inhabited by a man and a woman.
It was mostly said that strangling Ishida to death by Sada was final act of their desire and wish for to be one and to attained extreme pleasure. But scene before final act we see Kichizo Ishida on the street was walking opposite to marching of soldiers. Walking opposite side of the street from people alone, and expression on his face is sad and feared. This scene was very intentionally established and it relates other factor to the film. Although compared to activeness and aggression of Sada we see Ishida was mostly passive most of the time. So allow Sada to strangle him to death in the name of desire and extreme pleasure is questionable also. And it can be seen as also wish to die or an escape. As with feudal background Ishida feared by new Japan, new people and collapsing situation of feudal system. When Sada did not aware of this realm of Ishida, as she was fully under trance of only desire and lust, Ishida grasp the situation and uses Sada cleverly to kill himself. So it can be described as a clever escape from life through desire and submission.
Some other films those dwell in this same kind of Film zone are:“Idiots” by Lars von Trier
“9 Songs” by Michael Winterbottom
“Anatomy of Hell” by Catherine Breillat.

And again the basic criterion to making this kind of film is wisdom, wisdom of life, which is generated from raw life, vast experience. So only with gimmickry this kind of film can’t be made. Attempts are made in some corner of world and delivered a few examples of films mostly with flat result. Nagisha oshima’s film is still unique by all mean and attaining this legacy is not easier to conceive as it looked.

a good song

How low
are you willing to go
before you reach all
your selfish goals.
Punch line after punch line
leaving us sore,
leaving us sore.
Absorbed
in your ill hustling
you're feeding a monster,
just feeding a monster.
Invasion
after invasian,
this means war,
this means war.
Someday you'll be up to your knees
in the shit you seed.
All the gullible
that you mislead
won't be up or it.
Where to
will you relocate
now that it's war.
Now that it's war

Earthlings: a documentary by Shaun Monson

Earthlings” is a 2005 multi-award winning documentary written, produced and directed by Shaun Monson.
Thousand years ago a great man called Gautam Budha realized the world more modern way then now. This documentary not about only food habit of human or a non vegetarian and vegetarian argument. It’s all about helplessness of human in own zone then animals and manipulation of thoughts for industrialization of life without morality for profit and greed, so there is an acceptance also for vast selfishness. Of course we have not attained the perspective in our evolve situation of modernity that Gautam Budha achieved long time ago.
